Autodesk Revit Best Practices Dashboard Instructions

SETUP
1. Open the Power BI template, BestPracticeResults.pbit
2. You will be prompted with a dialog box asking for the File Path. This is the full path to the Excel file generated by the Validation Tool or Model Checker, including the Excel file name itself (c:\users\username\ModelCheck.xlsx)
3. Click Load
4. Save your Power BI PBIX file

REFRESH
If you use the same Excel filename, load your saved Power BI PBIX file and click Refresh to update the data from the new Excel file.

If you use a different Excel filename, load your saved Power BI PBIX file and go to Home > Tranform Data. This will open the Power Query Editor.
Under Queries, look for the File Path parameter and select it. In the Current Value field, enter the path and name to the new Excel file.
Click Close & Apply in the Power Query Editor.
