This residential complex consists of two buildings positioned in tiers, one above the other, totalling 72 residential units with underground parking. One of the main challenges was the six-storey vehicle lift and its access structures, providing access to an underground parking lot.
The project’s location constraints, including the impossibility of developing an access path to the underground parking lot due to non-construction setbacks, required the design of a vehicle lift that would provide vertical access to the parking lots.
The proposed structure uses three distinct construction materials for its structures and substructures. The lift core and access tunnel are composed of reinforced concrete, while the walkway to the main building and the service staircase are composed of glulam and structural steel, respectively.
