The main goal of this mandate was to design a falsework steel structure seating on temporary piles. The structure supported a pile cap of 4m dimension and the formwork underwater. The structure had to resist significant gravity loads (self-weight, formwork & concrete) as well as important water pressures (buoyancy & lateral). The structural components had to be designed to ease installation. Therefore, it was crucial to analyze all the load transmission using a structural model.Read more
This residential complex consists of two buildings positioned in tiers, one above the other, totalling 72 residential units with underground parking. One of the main challenges was the six-storey vehicle lift and its access structures, providing access to an underground parking lot.
