In order to provide high quality steelwork design as part of their timber framing process, Byrom Associates needed to bring 3D modelling into their toolset. Whilst they had got solid usage from the 2D design functionality of AutoCAD, it was time to expand their software setup so that they could get ahead of their competition.

Advance Design was used for the verification of the project’s multi-material metal/concrete zones and for the seismic analysis of the different blocks.
