Description
Design of the MECA building (Business and Culture Centre) in Southern France. Two concrete piles are supporting an eccentric steel bridge. Building faces are made of 800m² concrete panels. Elastic supports were introduced to match the actual structure behavior. A seismical analysis was warried out as the project is located in a zone 2 seismical area.
User’s benefits: Advance Design had several improvements across the years with major updates making its use more and more effective. Advanced structural analysis methods and design checks within the same application allow to handle an entire complex project from beginning until the end.
