  • Project Description: The upper part of the stand of the open-air theatre was covered with a roof. The steel structure has a span of 37m and a width of 16m. The weight is about 40 tons. The construction office Bentheimer Stahl -und Hallenbau GmbH & Co.KG was responsible for the steel structure. It was a very challenging and difficult construction, because the theatre is located in a quarry. Therefore, both the construction and the assembly had to be adapted to the difficult local conditions. The construction was realised with Autodesk Advance Steel.
