Before you start creating colour legends in Autodesk Revit it is best practise to make a duplicate of your required floorplan, if you have not already done so and ensure it is re-named accordingly.

Another idea would be to ensure these new views are organised into separate folders on the Project Browser, one way of doing this is to select your new view and duplicate the floorplan type giving it a relevant name.
